Dr Chris Low
Chris joined Legacy Park Ltd as Chief Executive in 2021 at a pivotal point in the development of Sheffield Olympic Legacy Park as it marked the milestone of the first £100m of investment. Policy Exchange think tank cite the Park as an exemplar of levelling up.
Chris is responsible for driving the development of the world-class health and wellbeing innovation ecosystem at Sheffield Olympic Legacy Park, attracting global investment into digital infrastructure and venture building. Chris established his enterprise reputation in his previous role as Associate Dean for Business and Enterprise at Sheffield Hallam University, where he founded a globally successful business accelerator programme which attracted start-ups from all over the world.
Chris also has responsibility for developing the skills strategy for the Park, including building the digital workforce of the future as co-chair of the national UTC Digital Health Skills Steering Group. He is also a member of the Blended Learning Ministerial Roundtable and a board member of the National Centre for Child Health Technology.
